~entryway...the reveal~

We have been in this house for 12 years and we are just now getting to the main floor
and let me tell you it can't come soon enough.
This is the first room you see when coming into the house or coming down the stairs.

                                                                 The Before:

No more nasty carpet ....no more shoe piles at the door

I'm in love with the wainscoting...the floors are amazing & can really
take a beating...The built in bench & coat rack the hubby built and
they fit the space perfectly not to mention are super functional & beautiful.

The shelving unit is really a lifesaver...all the hats, gloves & just
random stuff get thrown in here. We copied this idea from remodelaholic
so if you want to see the tutorial on how to make it go here.

The chalkboards were picture frames that we just added plywood too
and I used my silhouette for the words.

The space turned out just as we had envisioned and now its on
to the living room & kitchen. I can't wait to show you what we have
                                         planned in those rooms...........Stay tuned!
